She's a lady...

This weekend I finally found "RUSTY"
she is a beautiful dress mannequin.
Her cover was hand-made by someone.
Although it is charming, I wanted her
stripped down to the bare bones.
What a job. I'm still not finished.
I will post more pics when she's done.
Oh yeah, why RUSTY? Well as I stripped
her, I found a Singer Tag and someone
had wrote the name RUSTY on it, so I
guess the previous owner named her.

Forgot a few treasures...

I forgot to show you these awesome little spools of thread.
The one collection came in this old box so that was a plus!

Last Week's Junkin

The Spring weather has been up and down.
But this past week I got the chance to do some yard sales and junkin.
This was a must have from Two's Company for $5.

I thought she was different and can use it for inspiration to create
something for Christmas this year.

Not an old bowl, but really nice for 50 cents.

This scale is rusty and the paint is crusty, I just loved it!

This old fan was a steal at $3.

A huge bag full!!! 50 cents.

I can't wait to get out and do some more treasure hunting!

Sharing Finds...

Oh look at these goodies, my latest finds at
the yard sales and Saylorsburg Flea Market.

Some great old trim, a neat little suitcase and a top of a vintage dress.

These are a bag of old button cards, most of the cards aren't intact
but they are still fab to me!

This is a silverplate shaker. It just caught my eye.

These few spools of thread, a nice thick stitching thread.

I also got alot of other goodies, that I will share later!

Last Weekend's Treasures

It is finally the time of year that I love, Flea Market & Yard Sale Time! The North East has too many cold months for me! Here are some treasures I picked up this past weekend.

Some great frames, A tall vase, A glass votive holder (avon), Some bonus papers in the back of a frame, a couple European prints, two small pitchers (marked on bottom: 1/3, 1/2 ), Some nice fabric for projects and some fabric flower pin ons.

I can't wait till I go this weekend to find stuff!
